With a ticket scanning time slot, you can determine for each ticket when visitors are allowed to enter.
This is useful if you want to set different entry times for different target groups. For example, you can use separate entry times for VIPs, regular visitors, or early entry.
Visitors can only be checked in during the set times on the day of the event.
Where can you set this up?
- Open the Ticket Module.
- Open your admission ticket using the pencil icon.
- Go to "Advanced".
- Change the date under "Time slot for scanning tickets".
- Enter a start time and end time.
- Save your changes.

From that moment on, that ticket can only be scanned within the set time slot.
Please note
- Tickets can only be scanned within the times you set here.
- So make sure the time slot matches the time when you want to admit your visitors.
Tip
Would you like to test e-tickets before the event? Then set the following under "Time slot for scanning tickets":
- set the start date to the moment you want to begin testing
- set the end date to the end date of the event
This allows you to scan e-tickets throughout the entire testing and event period.
