Transaction fees
Credit card companies often charge higher transaction fees than “regular” banks. Read more about transaction fees.
Chargebacks
When a ticket payment has been made unlawfully using a credit card, the cardholder can file a chargeback to reclaim their money. This chargeback is handled through the credit card company, Adyen, and Momice. The chargeback applies to the full transaction amount (ticket price) + €7.50 in fees. These costs will be charged to you as the organizer, as you are ultimately responsible for all payments related to your event.
